To start a new stay:
Click the New Assessment button at the top right of your patient's profile page.
On the begin new assessment screen, fill in the admission date, the Medicare effective date and the PPS 5-day ARD (Assessment Reference Date).
Once this information has been entered you will return back to the patient's profile.
In the drop down admission date field, you can view the admission just added and in the dropdown box below this, you can view the ARD.
